Itsy Bitsy Spider Card

While on vacation we crafted this year's Halloween card.

Though my 1-1/2 year old took over the stamps and ran around the condo stamping himself. But I managed to get him to focus for 2 seconds to "wham bam" crank out some cards.

Hippity Hoppity Bunny

This little fellow just hopped on into our home. He has such a shy little sweetness about him.


This completes Hudson's year of baby prints since birth - my resolution I made over a year ago and I did pretty good in sticking to it. I must say I've had many craft challenges about what to do each time and with each one I've been so thrilled at how it turned out.


Of course, this will not be the end of my baby print madness as I know some crazy idea that will make me pull out the ink pads and get to stamping...I might have to move up to the next card size to get his footprint to fit.

Stay tuned as my next crafting madness will be Hudson's First Birthday Party. And you know I'll come up with some obsessive craft ideas in the next few weeks to share with you.

BTW: The best glue for working with felt is "Sobo" adhesive by Delta. It is sold in the glue aisle at the local craft store. This stuff works great.

Here is the December baby footprint card. Hudson's foot is just growing and I'm really running out of room, so it is going to be harder and harder to be creative in this small space. Enjoy and Merry Christmas to you!

Summer Paper Garland

Okay, okay...enough of the baby crafts you say. Since I don't have a ton of time to craft, I thought I would share a paper garland project I made last summer. This is easy to do. Remember when as a child you would accordion fold paper to make a fan, well you would use the same technique for this project.

Take some fun tie dye paper and fold it up. Then gently tear the edge of the paper. Fold the paper in half to find the center, then bring the ends together and staple so that you create this fanned medallion. Then take some alphabet rubber stamps and stamp the word "Summer". Punch out each letter with the trusty large circle punch and glue to cover the unsightly center of the medallion.

You can kind of see it in the photo, but I ran beads of glue in between the folds of the fan and sprinkled with.....glitter, of course. Punch a few holes and hang for an instant decor.

I really thought this turned out very nice and I love the colors of the paper. Happy Summer everyone!

Babies Everywhere!

My own "Little One" finally arrived at the end of April. So I've been busy in the world of diapers, feedings, naps, etc. But around me all my friends are having their own little ones. Here's a quick rubber stamped card I whipped up in between having my baby in tow.

I love using a bit of feather on projects, it adds some soft texture to the overall look. And of course if there's room for a rhinestone, glue it on as well.

Thank You Tags

I couldn't sleep one night, so about 3:30 am I got up and assembled some thank you gifts for an upcoming baby shower. I went into my craft room, which I haven't had time to enter since my pregnancy and whipped up these quick little tags to attach to the gift bag of goodies for my friends.

So quick and easy, just use a circle cutter on scrapbook paper. Stamp and emboss the saying "Delight in the little things" and "Thank you". Then of course add a little glitter. I love the look of circles right now and a circle cutter is a wise investment for making those perfect disks.

So quick, you can create these tags it in a matter of a few minutes!
